Gratuvia support
Report a bug, ask about a record, or send a privacy question. Include the details needed to reproduce the problem, but leave out pay records unless they are needed for the report.
Contact support
Tell us what happened, which phone you use, and the Gratuvia version if you know it. For an OCR problem, include the document type and the field Gratuvia read incorrectly. Do not send a pay stub or tip-slip image unless the image is needed to show the problem.

Frequently asked questions
Does Gratuvia upload my tip slips for OCR?
No. The current Android build runs its supported tip-slip OCR on the phone. The original tip-slip image stays in local app storage unless you choose to export or share it.
What should I do when OCR reads the wrong amount?
Correct the field before saving the record. If the same document type fails again, send support the document type, the field that was wrong, and what Gratuvia displayed. Attach the image only if it is needed to reproduce the error.
Are paycheck and tax estimates exact?
No. Gratuvia calculates an estimate from the wages, tips, tax settings, deductions, retirement contributions, and pay-period information you enter. Compare important amounts with the pay stub or payroll record issued by your employer.
Where are my records stored?
The Android build stores its main work and earnings record on the phone. Structured records use a SQLCipher-protected SQLite database. Original tip-slip images are kept separately in private app storage. The Privacy & Security page lists the storage and backup details.
How do portable backups work?
Gratuvia encrypts a portable backup on the device with AES-256-GCM. The recovery key is separate from the encrypted file. Save both somewhere you control. Without the recovery key, Prokvik cannot decrypt the backup for you.
How do I delete my data?
Delete local records with the controls available in the app. Delete an exported backup from the storage location where you saved it. The current core app does not require a Gratuvia account.
Is Gratuvia available on iPhone?
Not yet. The Android beta is being prepared first. iOS is planned after the Android release is stable.
